With his unique look, massive fluffy coat, and slightly chubby build, Rufusz instantly steals everyone's heart. He was found on the street, and although he had an owner, we haven't been able to reach them to this day.
He is house-trained, walks nicely on a leash, and is incredibly friendly with people. His only bad habit is that he tends to jump up on people when he's excited, so we only recommend him to families with children if they are mindful of this. Fortunately, this is trainable, and with a little consistency, he can easily be broken of this habit.
He gets along well with other dogs, especially females. He is not a particularly active pup; we can much more easily picture him relaxing next to his owner on the couch or comfortably sunbathing in the garden. He doesn't destroy things or chew on furniture, and thanks to his calm nature, he would make an excellent choice for first-time owners as well.
Unfortunately, he tested positive for heartworm, but his treatment has already begun.
Important! We ask that you apply as an adopter only if you are committed for life and are a responsible pet owner, for whom the dog is not a garden ornament, but a member of the family. You agree to take your dog/cat with you when you move just like another member of your family (either abroad, from a garden to an apartment, or to another sublet). You ensure that if anything happens to you, it still has a safe home.
