Clyde eleinte tartott a férfiaktól, feltételezzük nem bántak vele kesztyűs kézzel. Fokozatosan szoktatjuk őt, hogy itt már nem kell félnie senkitől. Ehhez nagy segítségünkre vannak a jutalomfalatok, imádja a hasát. Szépen sétál, nagy mérete ellenére, nem az a karkitépős fajta. Hamar felveszi a ritmust a sétáltatatójával. Makacs, látszik, hogy a nevelésében bőven akadtak hiányok, amiket most utólag próbálunk pótolni. Nem lehetetlen küldetés, de érzékeny kutya, meg kell nála találni a megfelelő módszert, hogy bízzon az emberben, de ezzel együtt megértessük vele, nem ő főnök. Aktív gazdit keres, akár kertbe is költözne sok foglalkozással.
Fontos! Kérünk, hogy csak abban az esetben jelentkezz örökbefogadónak, ha egy életre elköteleződnél és felelős állattartó vagy, akinél a kutya nem kerti dísz, hanem családtag. Vállalod, hogy költözésnél (akár külföldre, akár kertből lakásba, akár másik albérletbe) a kutyádat/macskádat, mint egy másik családtagodat viszed magaddal és gondoskodsz arról, hogy ha veled bármi történik, neki akkor is legyen biztos otthona.

At first, Clyde was quite wary of men; we suspect he wasn't treated with much kindness in his past. We are gradually teaching him that he no longer has anything to fear, and treats have been a huge help in this, he definitely loves his food! Despite his large size, he walks beautifully on a leash and isn't the "arm-wrenching" type; he quickly picks up the pace of his walker. He can be stubborn, and it’s clear there were gaps in his upbringing that we are now trying to fill. It is not a "mission impossible," but he is a sensitive dog; you have to find the right approach to gain his trust while also making him understand that he isn't the boss. Clyde is looking for an active owner and would be happy living in a house with a garden, provided he gets plenty of engagement.
Important! We ask that you apply as an adopter only if you are committed for life and are a responsible pet owner, for whom the dog is not a garden ornament, but a member of the family. You agree to take your dog/cat with you when you move just like another member of your family (either abroad, from a garden to an apartment, or to another sublet). You ensure that if anything happens to you, it still has a safe home.
