Animal Island

Mini farm

Time travel in Rex mode

Mini farm is a backyard farm with mostly native Hungarian pets, agricultural tools and special Hungarian cultural plants, where visitors can get acquainted with the forgotten world of farm life with the help of educational boards and professional guides. The farm also includes a horse farm where children can get acquainted with the world of horses.

At the reception, visitors can buy the desired amount of rex delicacies (1 bag costs HUF 500), which can only be fed to goats and lambs, but is also limited to avoid overeating.

Melani

Melani, the donkey who has been a resident of the Animal Island almost since its opening. Arrived from a family, who kept her in their garden in Budapest. The neighbors were understandably struggling with Melani's voice when she started it, so they ended up asking us to place her with us. She has been living with us ever since and everyone loves her very much. Even though she's a donkey, she thinks she's a horse. :) She is the happiest when she is around horses.

Tequila

In terms of breed, he is a Welsh D horse. He loves people, children, however he is not a huge fan of tractors. Tequila does not like swimming in any lake or galloping in water. His beautiful blue eyes, known as "silver eye", make his appearance more charming. Reliable, calm in all conditions, core member of children's camps.

Nutella

„Hucul” half-blood, comfortable, reliable horse. As a therapeutic horse she helped children in need a lot. You can do anything to him, he tolerates everything. Nutella is a young playful horse who loves water, loves to bathe, swim. Due to his “Hucul” origin we must pay attention to his feeding as he tends to gain weight on the tummy and quickly becomes a Nutella dumpling.
